A GIRL OF MANY THOUGHTS AND DREAMS

I am a contemporary poet who came from a loving and closely-knit family. My family is a great influence to my whole being. And ultimately my own style as a poet and writer. I have honed my talent through years of writing random thoughts, feelings though writing. It was in my fourth grade that I found my calling as an artist and writer. I developed my talent in sketching free-hand and watercolor painting at that time. I discovered my passion in writing during my seventh grade when my teacher asked us to write an essay on what we felt about the song being played on the radio in music class. I was given a 97--an A!. That day was a special one.

That day was when I realized that I had the talent to express my thoughts and feelings through beautiful words. I eventually started writing haikus and poems whenever I was feeling lonely or depressed. It became my outlet to release pent-up or negative feelings I may be having back then. And I still do now. I still sit in my room and write away my sorrow through poems.

The thing I love most

Is being loved. Everyone wants that. But for me, there is nothing more delicious than loving and being loved in return...It is one of life's joys and rewards...

When I had my child I was so scared. All of a sudden there came a big overwhelming responsibility for me. And for a minute I lost control. And then slowly I realized that I gained someone to love me unconditionally, even when I grow old. Perhaps in this life I was never meant to be a mother. Motherhood is such a noble and great responsibility. Being a mother means shaping and molding your child into a someone. Into being a self-productive and honourable person in the society. Still the thought of this keeps me wanting to become better. To be what a mother should be and what I should instill in my child at this early stage. With the help of my family, especially my own mother who has taught me life's lessons, I will become better. Far better than I am now. And then, maybe someday I can say I became A MOTHER.

My Ideologies

There are so many things I am raring to do...places to visit..people to meet...It's such a big world out there and it really is good to be alive and be thankful of our blessings...

Health is Wealth indeed
